About Me

My name is Lucas Evans and I’ve grown up, lived and am currently attending college here in Reno, Nevada. I’m currently attending the University of Nevada as a business major. My goal is to graduate with the knowledge required to run and even possibly own a business or firm. In the short term, my goal is to use this knowledge to help my dad out with his own local business, Next Generation drywall. As if you couldn’t tell, racing dirtbikes is a huge part of my life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve been riding a bike since I was 4, and racing since I was 12. Racing dirtbikes, or Motocross, has even landed me a job at Reno Motorsports, where I sell gear, change tires and even sometimes work on nice street bikes like Harley’s or Ducati’s. The connections I’ve made through working here are stronger than I could have ever imagined. because of this job, I’ve had amazing opportunities to race unique races like Vegas to Reno and Stadium GP.

Because of these amazing events and races I’ve been so lucky to participate in, I’ve learned to call these people not just coworkers, but my family. Motocross isn’t just a hobby, but rather a lifestyle. It’s determined almost every aspect of my life, for the better. its taught me how to be independent, work hard for what I want, and to always keep pushing even when things get hard. One last thing that Motocross has especially shown me, and something that I live by every day is that your family is more important than anything else on this planet. And no, I’m not talking about just your blood family, I’m talking about the people who are always there when you need them. Through hard races, life threatening injuries and even broken bikes, Motocross has shown me how important it is to keep good people close, and how by keeping these people close, you will always have help when you need it. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me and what’s important in my life.
